JOB FUNCTION SUMMARY

Direct Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers. Building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers that lead to future business opportunities. Expands existing accounts by selling new product offerings and/or extending relationships into new areas within an account. Provides pre/post-sales support. Involved in all aspects of the sale of electronic medical device equipment.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Account Manager — manage a specific territory and drive sales by leveraging our market leading products, strategies, and services to ensure revenue and margin goal obtainment. As a sales leader, develops and delivers impactful solutions that drive care and cost-improvements for our clients. Account Manager is responsible for delivering revenue targets and ensuring long-term, sustainable growth.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for achieving revenue performance
  • Accepts responsibility for establishing goals and achieving results within territory, holding self and others accountable for results.
  • Responsible for driving opportunity pipeline documented in Salesforce.com CRM
  • Responsible for developing and delivering sales forecast
  • Is accountable for managing financial resources
  • Serves as mentor and coach as a member of sales team
  • Develop and present solutions that deliver impactful cost and care improvements for our clients
  • Targets competitive conversions
  • Contribute to a positive team dynamic of high-energy collaboration, operational excellence and results focus

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to sell ventilation products in a wide market. Including formulating proposals, ROI formularies, and business plans
  • Broad knowledge of U.S hospital markets including acute care, post-cute, homecare, LTAC, SNF and EMS Pre-hospital. Demonstrated knowledge of regional/national accounts
  • Thorough fluency with all aspects of medical equipment sales techniques Creativity/innovation around programs to support growth in our current platforms
  • Business/financial modeling (budgeting, forecast, cost containment, revenue enhancement, due diligence)
  • Strong forecasting skills
  • Strong planning, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Coaching/mentoring/people development skills
  • Driving requirements dictate that the candidate possess and maintain a valid driver license at all times
  • Physically able to stand for 8 plus hours per day and lift 60 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum five (5) years proven, successful medical sales experience. Respiratory Therapy background preferred.

Proven track record of managing a sales territory or a field sales team required

Ability to travel 80% of time including overnight travel as determined by the requirements of the territory; includes spontaneous travel requests from customers

Ability to utilize online management tools as well as mobile applications

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

MS Office Suite

Salesforce.com experience a plus
